Micro teaching is the integral part of the Faculty of Education (FOE) that is necessary for practicum from intermediate to master’s degrees. As we know, Micro teaching has different stages. E.g. Briefing, Teaching, commenting and re-teaching. For this purpose I had prepared my lesson plan to teach for M.Ed. 2nd year students. My lesson was about “Vowel Sound”. We all were gathered in room no.8 in a day of micro teaching. It was my presentation day. My respected guru Narendra Raj Paneru called me on the basis of attendance as a third presenter in the presenting micro class. At first I had greeting to all students and guru with introducing myself. After this I ask my friend behave as M.Ed. 2nd year students, and I presented my subject matter of “vowel sound” focused with real conditional only on the date of 11th Mangsir, 2068. When I presented my lesson, I was much more confident in my subject matter as well as teaching technique. I had presented at least 10 minutes in my subject matter. During my presentation my performance was so good and all the students and teacher were satisfied with my presentation. Due to using inductive way of teaching made my presentation very interesting and communicative as well. I followed inductive method in my presentation on vowel sound and under it real pronunciation.
After completion of my performance, our supervisor prof. Narendra Raj Panaru sir asked to other participants to comment me about my teaching presentation but all of my friend didn’t comment about my teaching. In the same time our respected prof. Narendra Raj Paneru gave me some of the important guidance and suggestion to improve my teaching. He had commented me go through stepwise or ESA technique and used teaching materials. Conclusion:
After completion of micro teaching we can remove our weakness and mistakes as we get feedback by the phase of commenting in the micro teaching. It is the process to train the student’s teachers about their lesson plan, using technique, presenting style methods of using teaching materials for real class room teaching. The time is always shorter due to time limitations in micro teaching Trainee/student’s teacher cannot complete a lesson within 5-10 minutes. It has taken as the formality to be completed before going to practice teaching. Micro class is essential part of real teaching for fresh teacher to grab some of the ideas from the experience teacher for removing weakness committed by the fresh one to make the real class effective in the college/higher secondary school.
At last I want to express my grateful thanks and dedicated to my respected guru Dr. Bal Mukunda Bhandari, Head of Depart prof. Purna Bahadur Lamichhane and Prof. Narendra Raj Paneru and all of my peers who support me by commenting and suggesting in my presentation in micro teaching.
